Lana is an ingenious chef who has been working in the catering industry for twenty years. She was classically trained in European cuisine which shows through in her divine execution of any dish she sets to put out. European training not only promotes precise execution but also the ability to engineer inventive recipes and gorgeous plating that always astounds and pleases those who get the pleasure of trying her dishes.

Her deep rooted experience in the catering industry has not only fortified her ability to put out quality food but also highlighted the necessity of forging strong and positive relationships with clients. Lana carries forth in every endeavor valuing the highest quality of service due to her immense devotion to the satisfaction of every client.

Her mission is to always create the perfect dream event and that is done utilizing her devotion to the needs of each individual customer she has the opportunity to serve. This consideration for the menu, customer and overall event planning makes her a monument of excellence to other Houston caterers.

In her spare time Lana enjoys taking part in local activism, serving the Houston community and hoping to provide a better quality of life for those who reside in town. Lana has the skill, drive and passion to excel with all catering services and founded Astral Catering in order to provide local and outlying Texans with the events of their dreams.

kayleigh is a native Houstonian who grew up around the food and hospitality industry. Her passion for food started early. By age eight, she knew she wanted to be a chef. When visiting her grandparents, one of her favorite things was helping prepare meals, whether it be a simple breakfast or a full holiday dinner.

A dessert competition Kayleigh participated in during high school made her more determined to become a chef and whetted her appetite for more training. She placed 5th out of more than 400 students from all over Texas. Kayleigh graduated from culinary school in Houston, Texas, where she was trained extensively in all types of cuisine, baking and pastries, with baking and pastries being her favorite. One of her fondest memories is the Boot Camp she attended at the CIA in Hyde Park, New York.

Kayleigh has five years experience working with some of the most prestigious caterers in Houston, where she has learned from the best. Her motto is: “Not only must the food taste good, it must also look good.” Presentation is very important!  She strives for perfection. When the client is happy, she is happy. In her spare time, Kayleigh enjoys creating new recipes for her family and friends to enjoy.
